Hello! It’s great that you are here. We would like to tell you a little about our church and why people of all ages are part of our Christian community. As a church we really want to be:
- A caring, Christ-centred family
- Exploring together the nature of God, and his plan for us
- Joyfully spreading the the good news of his unconditional love
- Changing lives by means of worship, prayer and example
As a Church of Scotland Parish Church we have a particular concern for the community around us but we draw in people from a much wider area. The church is used as a meeting place for community organisations for all ages, as well as for worship. So no matter what your background or circumstances are we want to welcome you into our church.
The heart of our church life is learning about and living God’s love for us, shown so clearly in the life of Jesus, and we warmly invite you to join us at our Sunday services – 11:00 am each Sunday and 6:30 pm one Sunday evening a month from September to May – and also at our Midweek service and coffee morning each Thursday at 11:00 am from September to June.
Occasionally the evening service is a joint one with the Knightswood Fellowship of Churches at another venue, so please check our calendar for details.
Our parish covers the area around Anniesland Cross in the west of Glasgow, an area where there has been continuous housing and business development for more than a century. Click here to see the area of our Parish.
The present congregation is a result of the 1984 union of the two neighbouring congregations of Temple and Anniesland Cross, hence the name. You can read more about our history on the Church History page.
