Annie’s place café is on holiday over the summer. Check here for details of when it reopens.
The café is open on a Friday afternoon from 1pm-3pm. It has a warm friendly atmosphere and all are welcome to drop in for tea/coffee, cake, and good company.
Between 2pm and 3pm we have a variety of activities week to week. These include craft sessions, singalongs led by Jane from the Glasgow high school and guest speakers. Please see our programme for more details. You are welcome to join in the activity or just enjoy another cuppa and watch.
We have a very friendly group of volunteers who are happy to help and always keen to chat and lend a listening ear.
Some of our volunteers have trained with Playlist for life, a group who use music to people with dementia. Once a month we set up a help point to offer advice to anyone who would like to learn more about it, or get help to put together a playlist of their own or one for a relative or friend. Pop in to the café to find out more.
