Journeying with Jesus

Journeying with Jesus

John opens up the reading from Luke Ch 9: vv 51-62, Jesus’ journey to Jerusalem and the Cross. He shows us that, in calling us to follow Him, Jesus is asking us to put aside all the distractions that life can throw in our path and follow Him unreservedly. If we do so He can truly make a difference in our lives.
Too often we indulge our deep-seated need to be in control of our lives. Jesus asks us that we join with Him on the Journey of Life so that he can both lead us through and be with us in the uncontrolled times of life.

This is an edited version of the full morning service.
